200 years ago, back in 1807, Heinrich Bucher-Weiss took over a blacksmith's shop in the hamlet of Murzeln in Niederweningen, laying the foundation for the Bucher Group. Over its 200-year history, Bucher has grown into a global mechanical and vehicle engineering corporation.

Emhart Glass is the world's leading supplier of glass forming and inspection machines, components, spare parts and support services for the glass container industry, with offices in Europe, North America and Asia.

We will continue to develop the Group through organic growth, supplemented by selective complementary acquisitions. Through a clear divisional structure with decentralised management and profit responsibility combined with group-wide strategic and financial management, we aim to achieve the following ambitious financial targets: an operating margin of 12% EBITDA and 9% EBIT on sales and a return on net operating assets (RONOA) exceeding 16%.
